Draft for review. These terms cover use of this website. Items marked Confirm need to be confirmed by Parcel Wallet Ltd, ideally with legal advice, before publication.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of parcelwallet.co.uk (the “website”), operated by PARCEL WALLET LTD, a private company limited by shares registered in the United Kingdom under company number 17565775 (“Parcel Wallet”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Product status
The Parcel Wallet app is in development and is being prepared for private beta testing. It is not currently available on the App Store or Google Play. Features, designs and availability described on this website may change before or after release.
Taking part in the private beta will be subject to separate beta terms, which will be provided with your invitation. Confirm beta terms and distribution platform
3. Illustrative content
App screens shown on this website are illustrative previews that use sample parcel names and data. QR codes shown on this website are illustrative only. They are not valid shipping labels and must not be used to send a parcel.
4. Shipping labels and third-party services
Shipping labels and QR codes are issued by the relevant marketplace or shipping carrier, not by Parcel Wallet. Your use of any marketplace or carrier service is governed by that provider's own terms.
5. Independence and trademarks
Parcel Wallet is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vinted, eBay, Royal Mail, EVRi or any other marketplace or shipping carrier referenced on this website. Those names and any related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility and context.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems that host it;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with the website's operation; or
- copy or reuse website content other than as permitted by these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Parcel Wallet name, logo, website design, text and app interface designs are owned by or licensed to Parcel Wallet Ltd. You may view and share links to the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires our written permission.
8. Links to other websites
The website may link to third-party websites, such as Companies House. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.
9. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website. Confirm liability wording with legal adviser
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they were last changed.
